Doctor Manhattan met with President John F. Kennedy at the White House, and several years later meets President Richard Nixon in the Oval Office there. Nixon asks Manhattan to intervene in Vietnam, thereby ensuring a U.S. victory in the war. Manhattan, accompanied by Silk Spectre II, dispels anti-superhero rioters outside the White House.[1]
