Biography[]
Criminal Career[]
In 1977, Twilight Lady made an appearance in a pornographic film entangled with the case of a missing girl named Violet Greene. Operating from an old mansion turned BDSM establishment, she catered to an elite clientele. When Rorschach and Nite Owl II delved into the investigation, they stumbled upon footage implicating Twilight Lady and utilized Dreiberg's hoverbikes to track her down.
Within the mansion's walls, they uncovered a disturbing clientele list, including a senator and a police chief, while Greene herself remained by choice. Rorschach, driven by his uncompromising sense of justice, insisted on confronting Twilight Lady, convinced she was corrupting the youth.
Their pursuit culminated in a climactic rooftop battle, culminating in a shattering clash atop the glass dome crowning the mansion's main hall. As Rorschach teetered on the brink of delivering fatal justice, Nite Owl II intervened, sparking a heated altercation between the two crimefighters.
Nite Owl II Wins[]
Nite Owl II emerges victorious over Rorschach, who plummets through the glass roof. Meanwhile, Twilight Lady is rescued by Nite Owl II. Peering down, Dreiberg finds no sign of Rorschach, confirming his survival. As Twilight Lady attempts to flirt with her rescuer, he rebuffs her with anger, still repulsed by her behavior. He sternly orders her to leave the city or he will kill her himself. Disturbed by the entire ordeal, he departs, grappling with his emotions.
Rorschach Wins[]
Rorschach gains the upper hand over Nite Owl II, seizing his grappling gun. With swift and lethal precision, he employs it and sends Twilight Lady plummeting to her death. Dreiberg collapses in anguish, shattered by the loss, his voice piercing the chaos as he commands Rorschach to leave.Trivia[]
- Since Twilight Lady doesn't make a personal appearance in the film, her fate holds no sway over the storyline. Consequently, neither of these endings is deemed canonical over the other.
