The chairman was immensely popular on the music charts, releasing such records as Swing Low Swing High, Black & White & Swingin' All Over, In the Cards, and The Chairman's Greatest Hits.
The chairman, unbeknownst to the public, had ties to the criminal underworld, and was protected by his two beautiful bodyguards called the Shake Sisters. He had been working together with Gurustein, the proprietor of a San Francisco nightclub called Sand Doze, to help create a drug - Kesey Test 5 (KT-5 for short) - that would overwhelm a person's rational thoughts to brainwash fans to buy merchandise.
