- Sunbursts are most likely named after Starburst candy.
- The change from Mmeltdowns to Sunbursts mirrors the shadow of nuclear war over the people while it lasted, and afterwards the renewed interest about space and an imminent alien attack. This was done deliberately in order to manipulate the change of interests of the buying market similar to the way the company altered Nostalgia to Millennium.
