The Sub Quantum Unified Intrinsic field Device or S.Q.U.I.D. was an device that Adrian Veidt's science team, in cooperation with Doctor Manhattan, constructed at Rockefeller Military Research Center.
History[]
Adrian Veidt advertised his invention as a non-depletable energy source that would solve the world's problems and avert the energy crisis.
However, the S.Q.U.I.D., when activated from Karnak, would trigger massive explosions in several major cities of the world, leaving behind Doctor Manhattan's energy traces. This made the world unite against Manhattan, who teleported to another planet.
