Battle at Liberty Island[]
When Japanese saboteurs planned to destroy the Statue of Liberty, Nite Owl, aided by Bluecoat and Scout, infiltrated the Statue while Captain Metropolis and Hooded Justice secured the perimeter. Despite their efforts, tragedy struck when Bluecoat, fatally shot by his own father, fell in the line of duty. In a swift response, Scout, wielding a knife, attempted to attack his grandfather, but Nite Owl shot him in the head before the boy could approach him. The old man, as he fell, covered the explosive device with enriched uranium. Displaying remarkable courage, Scout, with bare hands, uncovered the device and deactivated it, ultimately saving the Statue from destruction.[1]
