In the film Sister Night, Pamela Davis is a dedicated nun during the day, ministering to lost souls in New York City's Hell's Kitchen. By night, she transforms into a masked vigilante, armed with a Colt .45 and a whip made of nickel-plated rosary beads, fighting crime wherever she encounters it.
Following an opening sequence where she confronts a gang of racist Knot Tops preying on the homeless, Sister Night delves into the investigation of the murder of a local prostitute who frequented her soup kitchen. Throughout the intricate mystery, Sister Night takes on a slumlord, dismantles a sex trafficking ring, exposes white-collar gangsters, and navigates a romantic connection with a charming graffiti artist. Amidst these challenges, she also grapples with the tragedy of her origin story—the brutal murder of her parents.
