In 1975, a little girl named Blair Roche was kidnapped by Gerald Anthony Grice and held for ransom. Grice believed that Roche belonged to the same wealthy family that owned Roche Chemical and intended to collect a large ransom. This was a mistake, as Blair had no blood relation to the Roche Chemical family and her real family was not wealthy at all.
