Following the 11/2 Psychic Shockwave, reflectatine became a very popular safety precaution for those fearful of another impending psychic blast.
Wade Tillman, a 11/2 survivor who was in New Jersey across from New York City where the attack happened, would take to wearing masks made out of the foil-like material over his head to protect his mind and modified his cap with an inner lining of the reflectatine material for everyday use.
