Joey was a fan of Pink Triangle. She forced Bernard to hang a poster promoting their upcoming live appearance at the Gay Women Against Rape Benefit Concert.

- The band is named after the infamous "pink triangle", a Nazi concentration camp badge that was used during the Holocaust to mark prisoners that have been identified by the authorities as homosexuals and eventually reclaimed decades later by the LGBTQ community as a positive symbol of queer pride.
