The Owl Suits are Dan Dreiberg's assortment of tactical uniforms in his war on crime. Nite Owl II wears the disguises to both conceal his true identity and to frighten criminals. They were inspired by Hollis Mason's original costume.
History[]
Standard Owl Suit[]
The standard Owl Suit sports an owl-themed curved cape, an owl-like cowl, a pair of gloves, boots, a utility belt, and tight-fitting body armor.
In addition to his standard Owl Suit, Dan Dreiberg had additional suits for specific purposes, like for arctic cold or for underwater use.
Anti-Radiation Owl Suit[]
The anti-radiation uniform was designed to protect Nite Owl II from radiation. It was completed on September 11, 1972 and costed $30,000. It is a light weight suit mimicking the appearance of the standard Nite Owl II costume and capable of providing complete production against intense radiation for periods up to five hours. The suit is color-coded orange for fast identification and retrieval.
