The New York Gazette is an American newspaper based in New York City.

History Edit

The title New York Times appears in 1945 about the bombing of Hiroshima[1] but by 1966 the title was changed to New York Gazette (maintaining the same typeface and header layout), as read by the Comedian in the Crimebusters meeting[2] and appears so thereafter.

In 1985, the newspaper published a story titled "Vietnam 51st State: Official!" regarding Vietnam becoming the country's 51st state.

Trivia Edit

  • The title "Times" is seen again in 1985 in its issue regarding Vietnam becoming the 51st American state.[3] As the title doesn't appear anywhere else, it is likely a goof.
