Mr. Musante was an Italian living in an Italian neighborhood of New York.

One day he was reading a copy of Daily News concerning the World War II in Europe. Hollis Mason asked him to see the newspaper, where he saw an advertisement by Captain Metropolis and Silk Spectre I for Costumed adventurers to join the American forces.[1]
