MerlinCorp was a manufacturing company secretly owned by Dan Dreiberg.
History[]
Dan Dreiberg established MerlinCorp sometime between 1985 and 1995. MerlinCorp manufactured various weapons, vehicles, and other equipment to law enforcement agencies across the United States, equipping various police departments with recognizable Nite Owl technology, including Owlships and night vision goggles. Unknown to the public, Dreiberg used his company to supply him and Laurie Juspeczyk with special crimefighting equipment to continue their vigilante careers.
Following Dreiberg's incarceration in 1995, the company was seized by the federal government, following a tip from Juspeczyk that led to a raid on the company, where the FBI recovered the blueprints to his inventions.
As of 2019, MerlinCorp's schematic blueprints are still being used for various law enforcement agencies including the Tulsa Police Department.
