On March 11, 1970, Jim Sizemore and Ted Philips aired a special report recalling ten years of Doctor Manhattan on NBS Nightly News. Sizemore interviews passersby on the street, and the responses from both young and old are glowingly positive, with several using the pop culture slogan “Better blue than red”. Sizemore notes that the crimefighter has been in recent talks with Richard Nixon and ponders whether he could be the key to ending the Vietnam War.[1]
