Friedrich Werner Veidt was a wealthy German-American immigrant and the father of Adrian Veidt.
Biography[]
Friedrich Werner Veidt grew up in Germany, where he met Ingrid, whom he later married. Shortly afterward, Ingrid became pregnant with their first child. Six months into her pregnancy, Friedrich and Ingrid decided to emigrate to the United States, likely to escape the growing threat of Nazism. They arrived in New York City in April 1939, and on July 2, 1939, their son, Adrian Alexander Veidt, was born.
While living in America, Friedrich and Ingrid worked to build a substantial fortune, eventually becoming very wealthy.
From an early age, Adrian demonstrated remarkable intelligence, drawing the attention of his parents and teachers. Suspicious of the consistent attention his academic achievements brought, Adrian began deliberately masking his brilliance by earning average grades to avoid scrutiny.
Tragically, Friedrich passed away while Adrian was still young, and his mother followed him before he reached adulthood. After their deaths, Adrian donated his substantial inheritance to charity, determined to build his success through his efforts alone.
