The Food, Drug, and Technology Administration (FDTA) is the federal agency responsible for protecting consumers in the United States it oversees various foods, drugs, and technologies.
History[]
After the passage of the Tech Recall and Reintroduction Act of 1993, the department would carry out the act, banning all uses of M-Class technologies such as lithium created by Doctor Manhattan and Blue Sunday.[1][2]
in 2007 the FDTA had Trieu Industries drug Nostalgia banned after it gave people psychosis and they started abusing the pill.[3]
Under the TRRA93, the FDTA deemed technologies like computers safe to use for federal employees and agencies like the FBI.[1]

- It is unknown when the FDA became the FDTA, but it can be inferred it happened after the Squid Attack, under the Nixon Administration, as a Squidfall poster it is dated 1987 and has the FDTA in it.
- An FDTA Agent Byron David Lewis, has the same name as Mothman.
