A carnival magician. When he visited a small town around 1940, little Edgar Jacobi was so impressed by him that he watched all his 5 shows in a row, spending all of his stolen quarter. After the show he found him in his trailer (while copulating with his assistant) and insisted to learn magic from him; which he did. Eddie became the (in)famous Moloch the Mystic.[1]
