Comedian's Guns and Dog Tags is a promotional prop set containing authentic replicas of the Comedian's sidearms and dog tags that are used in the film Watchmen, as well as an in-universe plaque commemorating him, written by Richard Nixon.
Along with other action figures and replicas, the gun and dog tags prop set were published by DC Direct and released on March 4, 2009, just before the release of the film. The original price was slated at $295.00, though price varies by source.
Description[]
The detailed prop set measures approximately 16 1/2 inches tall, 13 inches wide, and 4 1/2 inches deep, while being uniquely packaged in a four-color box.
The Comedian's trademark sidearms feature commemorative handle grips that have insignia-like illustrations of his badge plastered on each side. The guns were designed by Dave Lauck of D&L Sports, Inc. The military-issue dog tags, the plaque, and the firearms are permanently mounted inside an acrylic-covered frame, which can be hung on a well or set on a desktop.

The in-universe merit plaque, written by Richard Nixon, reads:
"In recognition of meritorious service above and beyond the call of duty/This special honor is presented to Edward Blake a.k.a. "The Comedian" with the gratitude of the Commander-in-Chief of the United States of America./Richard M. Nixon/Washington DC, USA/1970"
