Chris Deschaines' Father was the father of Chris Deschaines.
Biography[]
Chris Deschaines' father had been entrenched in a cult that revered Doctor Manhattan as a messianic Übermensch, a belief that exacerbated his descent into madness following his wife's death from leukemia and Manhattan's departure to Mars in October 19th, 1985.
By 1991, Chris found himself assisting his father in running a Burgers 'N' Borscht pop-up near Microsoft's campus, only to face upheaval when the company collapsed. With the aid of Mike Ennis' father, they resettled near Boeing Field, where they witnessed numerous space launches. Encouraged by their fathers, Chris and Mike took to performing for the spaceport crowds under the moniker "Space Junk," delivering renditions of Devo and David Bowie tunes. However, their earnings were swiftly halved by Mike's father, prompting Chris to voice his discontent to his father, who urged him to let it go.
Disillusioned by their fathers' actions, Chris and Mike resolved to leave their troubles behind, viewing it as their best course of action moving forward.[1]
