Bubastis II is a genetically engineered clone of the original Bubastis created by Ozymandias.
Biography[]
The original Bubastis was killed by Adrian Veidt in an attempt to neutralize Doctor Manhattan. Following the attack on New York and subsequent revelation of Ozymandias' scheme, Veidt devised a plot to bring Manhattan back to Earth in order to instill peace once again. Veidt recreated Bubastis, and refers to her as "the compass" that will lead them to Doctor Manhattan.
