American Hero Story: Minutemen[]

As a character of the series American Hero Story, Art and his field partner Jerry both had an admiration toward the Minutemen, viewing them as true American heroes for taking down the biggest villains in New York City. Though they expressed admiration for the team's key member Hooded Justice, they were curious about his true nature, and betted against each other as to why he wore that noose around his neck, with Art theorizing that it's connected to how executioners used to dress.

In the episode of AHS, "The Hero With 1000 Faces... Or Just Three", Art and Jerry interrogate Hooded Justice following his capture by the FBI. They expressed their admiration towards him, both for putting away dozens of supervillains, and for being the first costumed adventurer. At first the agents call Hooded Justice and the Minutemen true American heroes, but then they asked him about what the story is behind the noose around his neck. Art summarized his theory that it's connected to how executioners used to dress. Jerry believed that it's related to sex stuff. Art informed HJ that they know that he's gay and bring up Captain Metropolis, and mentioned that they need him to bring them a film that Captain Metropolis has hidden away in his home. Art tells him to take his hood off so they can take a photo of his face. Hooded Justice refuses, and the agents note that Captain Metropolis has a roll of film with "sex stuff" on it, and Metropolis is blackmailing J. Edgar Hoover. Art tells Hooded Justice that he's going to bring them the film, and they'll tear up the photo of Hooded Justice they're going to take in return for the vigilante's cooperation. Hooded Justice finally removed his mask, and Jerry prepared to take a photo of him, but just as he's told to say cheese after he has complied in unmasking himself, he retaliated and beats them up to the point that he kills them.[1][2]
