Andy Warhol (born Andrew Warhola) was an artist, film director, and producer who was a leading figure in the visual art movement known as pop art.

In 2019, an Andy Warhol pop art painting is displayed in Laurie Blake's apartment in Washington, D.C. featuring Laurie as Silk Spectre II, Nite Owl II, Ozymandias, and Doctor Manhattan.[1]


A fictional version of Andy Warhol appears in the opening credits montage to the 2009 film, Watchmen, and is portrayed by Greg Travis.[2]

In 1975, Warhol appears alongside Truman Capote displaying his art. Each piece featuring the heroes from the second wave of costumed adventurers including Nite Owl II, Ozymandias, and Rorschach at his New York City studio, The Factory.[2][3]
