Twentieth Century Studios, Inc (formerly known as Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation, spelled from 1935 to 1985 as Twentieth Century-Fox Film Corporation, also known as 20th Century Fox, or simply Fox), also known as 20th Century Studios, is an American film studio currently owned by The Walt Disney Company. It was one of the six Worldwide major American film studios until it was purchased by Disney in 2019. In January 2020, Disney renamed the studio from 20th Century Fox to 20th Century Studios. Some of 20th Century Studios' most popular movie franchises include Home Alone, Die Hard, and Ice Age. From 1986 to 1991, they tried to produce a Watchmen film.
